PAGE OF NON-FICTIONAL STORIES Author: T. B. Smirnova MYTH-MAKING In the Bolsherechensky district of the Omsk region, there was a Tatar village called Molodtsovo, which was formed at the earliest, at the end of the 19th century. Next to it was the Tatar village of Cheplyarovo, to which the inhabitants of Molodtsovo moved during the consolidation period. I must say that Russian names for Tatar villages are not typical, why the Tatar village was named Molodtsovo is unknown. Next to Cheplyarovo, archaeologists dug and ran into the village to sneak up. But a couple of years later, an ethnographic expedition of Omsk State University came to Cheplyarovo, and one of its leaders (Candidate of Historical Sciences, by the way), recorded this legend from the locals, and with burning eyes, under the impression of the unique properties of the historical memory of the people, began to spread this version among the scientific community. It's good that they stopped it in time for publication. ABOUT CHOOSING THE RIGHT INFORMANT The expedition to Baraba took place in the winter. After sending the team home after the expedition, its leader, let's call him A. G., dec ... Читать далее
