Unlike traditional camping, where tourists set up tents themselves and give up most of the amenities of civilization, glamping offers accommodation in well-equipped structures with all the conveniences. This direction was formed in the early 2000s as a response to the demand of urban residents who are striving for a natural atmosphere but are not ready to give up their usual comfort.

The key idea of glamping is to create harmony between the authenticity of the surrounding environment and the luxury of service. Travelers have the opportunity to enjoy the landscapes, sounds of the forest, or the view of the starry sky without giving up quality food, a comfortable bed, and modern sanitary solutions. The main target audience consists of wealthy professionals aged 30–50, families with children, and romantic couples who value time and unique experiences. For them, glamping becomes a way to recharge without the stress associated with organizing a classic hike.

Glamping locations are characterized by a variety of architectural solutions that organically fit into the landscape. The most common types of accommodation are:

Safari tents — spacious tents with wooden floors, full furniture, and a separate area for rest;
